L’AND only produces vintage wines in limited quantities, with an almost artisanal winemaking approach distinguished by its exceptional quality and a very distinctive identity reflecting the Alentejo terroir.
L’AND wines are only produced from national varieties from our own vineyards. The grape production is substantially reduced so as to concentrate the wine and increase the quality. Grapes are produced using natural biodynamic methods only using organic fertilisers and avoiding the use of excessive chemicals.
Therefore we hope that each wine is a pure expression of the local terroir and surrounding natural environment.
Each hand picked harvest comes with a rigorous grape selection and is bottled and packaged in high quality small quantity cases.
The vinification process is carried out at our winery with natural fermentation and traditional methods using very few chemicals or sulphites.
