The Alentejo winemaker Paul Laureano, coordinates our team's L'AND WINE CLUB which is directed by winemaker Patricia Baptista.

Paul Laureano, who hails from the Alentejo region of Alter do Chão, holds a diploma in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Evora. Wine production and his sensitive nature were the two decisive factors in choosing his profession. He took two advanced degrees in Oenology – one at the School of Biotechnology, Universidade Católica do Porto and the other at Charles Sturt University, Australia. Upon returning to Portugal he became a consultant to several manufacturers and in 1998 he founded the company Eborae Vitis e Vinus, through which he produced and launched his own wine. Between 1993 and 2003, he held the post of Professor of Oenology at the University of Evora where he also ran their Oenology Lab. In 2004, Paul Laureano was named "Best Winemaker of the Year” by both "Vinhos” and "Nectar” magazines.
